Numerical simulation of wave processes in solid and gaseous media based on the particle dynamics

Abstract: A method is proposed for the numerical simulation of acoustic processes and the motion of solids in gases based on the representation of media in the form of multiple particles. The behavior of particles is described by Newton’s equations of motion, and the strength of the interaction between particles depends on the distance between them. For gas particles, only the repulsive force is considered, and for particles of a solid force interaction ensures the equilibrium existence of a body-centered cubic lattice.… Show more
