Abstract:A finite element model of nanosecond laser interaction with the Cu-Al2O3 dispersion strengthened alloys has been established according to the underlying mechanism of melting flow, phase transition and evaporation removal of material. Attempting to replicate the multi-field coupling effects in laser ablation process, this model takes both the thermophysical properties of materials varied with the temperature, and the evolution of erosion morphology under the instantaneous high-temperature action of pulsed laser… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
