Abstract:International audience
The aim of this paper is to study some iterative methods, based on the domain decomposition approach to solve the acoustic harmonic wave propagation in an unbounded domain. We describe how our methodology applies to semi-infinite closed guides and to acoustic scattering problems. In both cases, we use some well-known transparent boundary conditions by imposing on a fictitious boundary a boundary condition by the means of a Fourier expansion. For numerical purposes, we propose a… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
