Nurses and Nursing Students With Substance Use Disorders

Abstract: Substance use disorder (SUD) is a significant problem for millions of Americans. The incidence of SUDs among nurses and nursing students is thought to be like that found in the general population. Some studies suggest increases in substance use among college students given stressors related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
