Abstract:Chaya leaves (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius) contain many nutrients and phytochemicals expected to reduce ruminants’ methane emissions. This study aims to determine the nutritional quality, phytochemical content and potential inhibitory power of Chaya leaf extract against the growth of rumen fluid methanogen bacteria.
