Abstract: Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) and beetroot (Beta vulgaris l.) are two promising protein and mineral food sources. Both have a high potential to be developed as a cream soup that can alleviate micronutrient (iron and folic acid) deficiencies among pregnant women.
