Abstract:AIM:To understand the role of nutritional status in cirrhotic patients without clinical portosystemic encephalopathy (PSE). METHODS: Fifty-one non-alcoholic patients with cirrhosis without PSE were studied prospectively and compared with 20 healthy volunteers.
