Abstract: A two-year field experiment was conducted to study the behavior of three improved Egyptian rice varieties under different rates of nitrogen fertilizer. The selected tested varieties were Sakha109 (Japonica type), Giza179 (Indica/Japonica Type), and Giza182 (Indica type).
