O ouro, a água e a Arqueologia (Minas Gerais, Brasil, século XVIII)

Abstract

<p align="left"><em>Este trabajo aborda la presencia del agua como un elemento indispensable para la minería colonial en el Brasil Central durante el siglo XVIII. Utilizando datos de documentos de la época y de investigaciones arqueológicas, el estudio se desarrolla mediante una perspectiva que comprende, por un lado, la naturaleza técnica del proceso y, por otro, su configuración social. Lo que queda evidente es la participación del agua en aquella realidad histórica como fuerza productiva insustituible y también en la condición de problema a ser resuelto.</em></p>
