Office Design and Evaluation

Abstract: State-of-the-art research in the field is reviewed with emphasis on the impacts of physical environmental quality on worker satisfaction and job performance. The review focuses on three main topic areas: physical comfort and task instrumentality, privacy and social interaction, and symbolic identification. Within each topic area, recommendations are made for planning and design.
