Old drug, new wrapping − A possible comeback for chloramphenicol?

Abstract: The antimicrobial drug chloramphenicol (CAM) exhibits activity against resistant bacteria, such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). However, its use has been limited due to its toxicity.
