Abstract:This paper presents a switch-mode rectifier (SMR) fed synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) drive. Good driving performance over wide operating range is achieved via: (i) boosted and wellregulated DC-link voltage established by the SMR; (ii) real-time commutation angle tuning by the adaptive commutation scheme (ACS) using on-line fitted motor key parameters, and equivalently by the model-free intuitive commutation tuning (ICT) scheme; (iii) robust current control considering slotting harmonic effects; and (iv) … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
