Abstract: Let P (n) be the greatest prime factor of a positive integer n. In this note we obtain asymptotic formulae for the sumswhere m is an arbitrary but fixed positive integer.We also obtain asymptotic formulae for the sumwhere p(n) denotes the least prime factor of n.
