Abstract:The problem of stability robustness with respect to external inputs is analyzed for passive and strict passive systems, whose storage and supply rate functions are sign-definite with respect to a set containing all compact and globally attracting invariant subsets of the unforced system. The results are obtained using the framework of inputto-state stability and integral input-to-state stability for multistable systems. Several conditions are proposed and the cases when an output stabilizing feedback is needed… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
