On the acceptability and feasibility of pronatalist population policy in the Netherlands

Abstract: Abstract. The major goal of this paper is to contribute to the discussion about population policy in European countries from an empirical perspective. It begins with a short description of Dutch population policy since 1945. Next, data on the social acceptability of pronatalist policy are summarized.
