On the Classical and Deformed Korteweg-de Vries Equation

Abstract: Given the general nonlinear partial differential equations and the importance of the Korteweg-de Vries equation (KdV) in physics, this chapter presents a basic survey of the two-dimensional Korteweg-de Vries model.
