On the Fluctuation-Dissipation Theorem for Convective Processes

Abstract: When making the connection between the thermodynamics of irreversible processes and the theory of stochastic processes through the fluctuation-dissipation theorem, it is necessary to invoke a postulate of the Einstein-Boltzmann type.
