On the microscopic mechanisms behind hyperferroelectricity

Abstract: Hyperferroelectrics are observing a growing interest thanks to their unique property to retain a spontaneous polarization even in presence of a depolarizing field, corresponding to zero macroscopic displacement field (D = 0) conditions.
