Online High Temporal Resolution Measurement of Atmospheric Sulfate and Sulfur Trioxide with a Light Emitting Diode and Liquid Core Waveguide-Based Sensor

Abstract: High temporal resolution components analysis is still a great challenge for the frontier of atmospheric aerosol research. Here, an online high time resolution method for monitoring soluble sulfate and sulfur trioxide in atmospheric aerosols was developed by integrating a membrane-based parallel plate denuder, a particle collector, and a liquid waveguide capillary cell into a flow injection analysis system.
