Abstract:Background: Acromioclavicular (AC) joint separations occur most often in young male patients, commonly in athletes. Initially described by Jones et al. in 2001, reconstruction with semitendinosus allograft via cerclage has been increasingly adopted in recent times, though this not been as well described in video journals.
