Optical Absorption of a D2+ Artificial Molecule Confined in a Spherical Quantum Dot

Abstract: In this work, we have performed a theoretically study on the energy spectrum, binding energy and intersubband optical absorption of a D2+ complex confined in a spherical quantum dot with finite confinement potential by using diagonalization method within the effective mass approximation.
