Optical and radiation shielding properties for novel glass material: TeO2/Nb2O5/Ta2O5/La2O3

Abstract: Glass samples with (86-x)TeO2 – 12Nb2O5- x(Ta2O5) -1.0La2O3 where 𝑥 = 1.0 (glass TNTL1), 5.0 (glass TNTL2), 8.0 (glass TNTL3), and 10 (glass TNTL4) mol% composition were synthesized by a melt quenching technique.
