Optical hierarchical fully shuffled tree

Abstract: This paper applies optical interconnects towards the implementation of fully shuffled r-ary trees. The architecture is based on wavelength division multiplexing (WDM)which enables multiple multi-access channels to be realized on a single optical fiber and dynamically varying the time slot and wavelength allocation according to traffic intensity, thus allowing for better performance.
