Optical potential for the elastic scattering of 6Li projectile on 1p-shell nuclei

Abstract: A set of global optical potential parameters describing the elastic scattering of 6Li projectile on 1p-shell nuclei is obtained by fitting the experimental data of elastic scattering angular distributions for 9Be, [Formula: see text]B, [Formula: see text]B, [Formula: see text]C, [Formula: see text]C, [Formula: see text]C, [Formula: see text]N, [Formula: see text]O and [Formula: see text]O targets with incident energies from 4.0[Formula: see text]MeV to 210.0[Formula: see text]MeV and with 6Li and 7Li targets f… Show more

“…Thus far, we have established the 6,7 Li GPOPs for the reactions of 6,7 Li on medium and heavy nuclei [6,7] via fitting of the experimental data of elastic scattering angular distributions and reaction cross sections in the target mass range of 24-209 below 250 MeV. However, this does not provide a good description of these reactions for targets with mass numbers below 20 [6][7][8][9]. Nuclear reactions of 6,7 Li on light targets are more complicated than those for heavy targets, such as the reactions of 6,7 Li induced 1p-shell nuclei.…”
