“…In particular, molybdates phosphors were implemented in optical applications [10][11] and evaluated extensively over the past century as a scintillating medium and electro-optical devices, given their broad and intense absorption bands due to the charge transfer (CT) from oxygen to the metal in the near-ultraviolet (UV) region [12][13][14][15][16] . Among molybdates, CaMoO4 is considered an outstanding matrix material for the synthesis of highly applicable luminescent materials due to its excellent physical and chemical properties [17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24] . Moreover, CaMoO4 exhibits a tetragonal structure and space group I41/a 25 with a shared edge 27 .…”

“…Alkali-earth molybdates MMoO 4 (M = Ca, Sr, Ba) include a wide range of scientifically and technologically significant compounds. These materials are chemically designed and further synthesized using different methods based on the final objective. In particular, molybdates phosphors were implemented in optical applications , and evaluated extensively over the past century as a scintillating medium and electro-optical devices, given their broad and intense absorption bands due to the charge transfer (CT) from oxygen to the metal in the near-ultraviolet (UV) region. Among molybdates, CaMoO 4 is considered an outstanding matrix material for the synthesis of highly applicable luminescent materials due to its excellent physical and chemical properties. Moreover, CaMoO 4 exhibits a tetragonal structure and space group I 4 1 / a . In the scheelite structure, the Mo cations are bonded to four oxygens, which form the tetrahedral [MoO 4 ] clusters; whereas the Ca cations are coordinated to eight oxygen anions, which form the dodecahedron [CaO 8 ] clusters , and can be described as a layered arrangement composed of noninterconnected [MoO 4 ] and [CaO 8 ] clusters that form chains parallel to [11̅0] with a shared edge .…”

“…Как известно, кристаллы молибдата кальция и твердые растворы на их основе могут использоваться в качестве активной среды в лазерной технике, криогенных фононных сцинтилляционных детекторах, а также в акустооптичесих устройствах [3]. В настоящей работе изучены упругие и фотоупругие свойства кристаллов CaΜoO 4 (точечная группа симметрии 4/m), которым посвящен ряд работ [4][5][6] ( 1) ( 1)…”

“… 12,13 The photoactivity of ZnMoO 4 is a result of its structural diversity, superior optical properties in a broad emission spectrum, and substantial charge transfer between the bands of activated 2p (O 2 ) and 4d (Mo 6+ ) orbitals. 14 In addition, possible improvements to the photocatalytic capabilities of traditional inorganic semiconductors could include their large specific surface area, broad visible-light absorption, and adjustable bandgap edges. 15 It has been demonstrated that loading and dispersing ZnMoO 4 particles on suitable supports is a viable alternative method for achieving the aforementioned goals.…”
