Optimal Placement of Distributed Generation to Enhance BusVoltage Qualitative Index

Abstract: The installation of distributed generation (DG) units in power distribution networks is becoming more prominent. The impact of DG units on the voltage qualitative index has become significant day by day. Optimization techniques are tools which can be used to locate the DG units in the system, so as to utilize these units optimally within certain limits and constraints.
