Abstract:This paper investigates the optimal tracking performance of systems by considering packet dropouts, additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN), and coding under energy constraints. The optimal tracking performance of communication-constrained systems is obtained by spectral decomposition and partial factorization. The results show that the optimal tracking performance of the system is related to intrinsic properties such as non-minimum phase zeros and unstable poles. What's more, encoding, data loss rate, and AWGN ar… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
