“…The solutions (100 mL) of CSL (at 100, 250, 400 g L −1 ) were prepared in 250 mL Erlenmeyer flasks by dissolving this liquor in demineralized water, which was then sterilized at 121 • C for 15 min. Then, 1 mL of A. aneurinilyticus was inoculated into the culture medium containing sterilized CSL solutions, and the flasks were incubated at three different temperatures (20,40, and 60 • C) for 8, 19, and 30 days of fermentation on a rotary shaker at 150 rpm.…”

“…Hence, the researchers have been focused on the immobilization of enzymes with no support, which act as biocatalyst. The biocatalyst immobilization is an important method in biotechnology field, which have several advantages including easier handling, simpler product separation, high stability, resistant against pH and temperature, possible to use continuously, no biomass washout, and cost effective 109 . Different types of biocatalyst immobilization methods are illustrated in Figure 4.…”

“…Biosurfactants and BE have gained increased importance in recent years due to their potential applications in various industries such as pharmaceutical, agriculture, food, medicine, textile, and oil industry ( Kumar et al, 2021 ; Raj et al, 2021 ; Dong et al, 2022 ; Pardhi et al, 2022 ; Thraeib et al, 2022 ). They play a key role in industries by exhibiting different properties such as surface and interfacial tension reduction, wetting agent, oil dispersion, cleansing agent, and emulsification ( da Silva Lira et al, 2022 ).…”
