Abstract:This treatise presents a framework for the optimisation of a colour-based optical spatial modulation for visible light communication (VLC). The focus is particularly on the conflicting interests between illuminance and signal transmission. The system under consideration is configured with a non-lineof-sight (NLoS) model, based on the joint use of colour shift keying (CSK) and optical spatial modulation (OSM) with intensity modulation and direct detection (IM/DD). With the adaptation of the aforementioned optic… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
