Optimization of Cd (II) removal from aqueous solution by natural hydroxyapatite/bentonite composite using response surface methodology

Abstract: Toxic cadmium (Cd) was removed from water using eggshell-based hydroxyapatite (HAp) grafted bentonite (HAp/bentonite) composite through a straightforward chemical synthesis route.
