Optimization of Fermentation Conditions for Synthesis Dextran by Biochemical Conversion

Abstract: To improve the production of dextran, fermentation conditions for cultivation of an Leuconostoc mesenteroides CICC-21725 were investigated. The fermentation conditions were optimized preliminarily by using the method of univariate experiment in the shake-flask culture, and the yield rate of dextran was used as the investigation index.
