Abstract:Self-injection locking is a dynamic phenomenon which provides passive stabilization of a lasers emission frequency via resonant optical feedback. The stabilization coefficient depends on the level of resonant feedback and quality factor of the external resonant structure creating the feedback. Usually a self-injection locked laser (SIL) involves barely tunable resonant Rayleigh scattering (RRS).In this work we study theoretically a scheme of a SIL to a high-Q microresonator with drop-port coupled mirror, in wh… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
