Abstract:This work deals with the design of on-chip planar electromagnets that will be introduced into a microfluidic device as part of a DNA extraction system. Different geometries of planar electromagnets have been designed, fabricated and tested using SQUID, and a comparison between their magnetic fields is made. The magnetic fields generated by different electromagnets were also studied using both theoretical considerations and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) simulations. The analysis and results of SQUID measurement… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
