Abstract: Soybeans (Glycine max) contain a number of nutritional and health-supporting compounds, such as protein, fibers, phytosterols, and isoflavones. The pharmacological activities of soybeans include improving the immune system, acting as an antioxidant, inhibiting carcinogenesis, and reducing cholesterol levels.
