Abstract: The optimal applied potential for the acceleration of the corrosion of hot-dip aluminized ferritic stainless steel in 5 mass% NaCl solution was investigated using electrochemical techniques (open-circuit potential measurement, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, potentiodynamic-and potentiostatic-polarization tests).
