Optimization of the extraction and purification of Corydalis yanhusuo W.T. Wang based on the Q-marker uniform design method

Abstract: Corydalis yanhusuo W.T. Wang alkaloids are mainly divided into three categories: protoberberine, prototropine and aporphine alkaloids. Therefore, we have taken into account these three alkaloid contents when extracting and purifying crude drugs, which is essential for the quality control of C. yanhusuo and its derivative products. Herein, we investigated the feasibility of the Q-marker uniform design method in the optimization of the extraction and purification of C. yanhusuo. In this study, Q-marker-based com… Show more

“…The chemical structures of THP and its derivatives are presented in Figure 2 . THP is a secondary metabolite generated during plant metabolism and found in peanuts, roots, tubers, leaves, or whole plants of some important medicinal plants ( Supplementary Table S1 ), such as Stephania cepharantha Hayata [Menispermaceae; Shan Wu Gui] ( Wu et al, 2011 ; Xiao et al, 2019 ), Corydalis yanhusuo (Y.H.Chou & Chun C.Hsu) W.T.Wang ex Z.Y.Su and C.Y.Wu [Papaveraceae; Corydalis rhizoma] ( Xiao et al, 2011 ; Xu et al, 2015 ; Wu et al, 2018 ; Zhang et al, 2020 ), and Uvaria microcarpa Champ. ex Benth [Annonaceae; Zi Yu Pan] (Annonaceae) ( Liu et al, 2011 ).…”

“…YHS has recently gained increasing attention as one of the most significant medicinal herbs in TCM commonly used to promote blood circulation and relieve chest pain, abdominal pain, inflammation, and other pathological conditions. The research on YHS mainly includes extraction, separation, content determination [18][19][20], and pharmacological effects [21]. According to reports, YHS contains chemical components, with the primary constituents of the YHS extract being alkaloids, which play a crucial role in pain relief [22,23].…”

“…In order to quantify the impact of traffic conditions on the life-cycle economy of SBDPS, five representative traffic conditions for different traffic requirements were designed based on the uniform design method [31]. The uniform design method is a method to find the representativeness in the variation range of independent variables, the core idea of which is to make the test points evenly distributed in the test range and, meanwhile, make the overall characteristics of the system still relatively well-reflected.…”
