Optimization of Urban Drain Layout Using GIS

In line with the increasing interest on Kata kunci: AHP, jalur alternatif, sistem informasi geografis, WAP PENDAHULUANPada bulan April 2006 telah terjadi bencana akibat semburan lumpur yang melanda daerah Porong dan sekitarnya. Pengeboran yang sebelumnya dilakukan dan tidak ada akibat yang berarti, tiba-tiba menimbulkan suatu bencana yang meresahkan para penduduk yang bertempat tinggal disekitar Porong pada khususnya dan pengendara yang melewati jalan tol Gempol-Porong pada umumnya. Dengan adanya kejadian ini menyebabkan arus lalu lintas yang dulunya berjalan lancar, sekarang menjadi tidak lancar. Jalan tol Gempol-Porong sudah tidak dapat digunakan kembali dikarenakan aliran lumpur yang memenuhi badan jalan tol. Karena itu jalur alternatif yang menghubungkan jalur padat kendaraan Surabaya-Malang sangat diperlukan baik untuk jalur pengendara pribadi, umum maupun jalur distribusi.
