Optimizing the Composition of Silicone Enamel to Ensure Maximum Aggregative Stability of Its Suspensions Using Surfactant Obtained from Oil Refining Waste

Abstract: The aim of this study was to optimize the composition of enamel consisting of aluminum pigment and polyphenylsiloxane polymer, in order to achieve the maximum aggregative stability of suspensions. Sedimentation rate (SR) was used as a criterion for assessing the aggregative stability of the suspensions. An original product, AS-1, and industrial additives PEPA and Telaz, were tested as surfactants. AS-1 was obtained from oil refining waste at M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University. All the studied surfactants… Show more

“…After measuring the values of the amplitude coefficient of the third harmonic corresponding to a certain combination of input parameters ( Table 2 ), the experimental array was sampled on dot plots in accordance with the PDP method [ 75 , 76 , 77 , 78 , 79 , 80 , 81 ], and the particular dependencies were obtained, which are shown in Figure 12 , Figure 13 and Figure 14 .…”

“…of the ultrasonic signal was carried out using the method of probabilistic–deterministic planning (PDP). A detailed description of the PDP method for modeling multiparameter processes is presented in [ 75 , 76 , 77 , 78 , 79 , 80 , 81 ]. The experiment was designed with a “3 × 3 × 4” plan and included all the possible combinations of input parameters.…”

“…Making science-based decisions both on determining the nomenclature and dosing of additives, and on predicting their combined effect in modified bitumen–mineral compositions is extremely important for the development of the modern scientific direction in the field of modifying composites. The use of probabilistic–deterministic modeling (PDM) methods allows for solving this problem and developing recipes with the required characteristics [ 4 , 42 , 43 , 44 , 45 , 46 , 47 , 48 ].…”
