Abstract: The friction stir welding of A365 and AZ91C alloys was conducted in this study to assess the effect of tilt angle, linear velocity and rotating speed on the elongation, hardness and tensile strength using the response surface method. Then, the weld microstructure was investigated by SEM, TEM and EDS analysis to deeply investigate the structure of A365–AZ91C weld.
