Abstract:Porphyromonas gingivalis (Pg) and its gingipain proteases contribute to Alzheimer’s disease (AD) pathogenesis through yet unclear mechanisms. Cellular secretion of small extracellular vesicles or exosomes (EXO) increases with aging as part of the senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP).
