Abstract:Samples of orange patinas found on a limestone balustrade and an ornament of the Batalha Monastery have been investigated by X-ray micro-diffractometry (µ-XRD) and Low-Vacuum Scanning Electron Microscopy coupled with Energy Dispersive Spectrometry (LV-SEM + EDS).
