Orbital Exenterations: Our experience at Ankara Oncology Research And Training Hospital.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to review our 5 year experience with orbital exenterations and to evaluate the demographic and clinical features of patients, indications and outcomes. Between January 2008 and December 2012, 16 patients who underwent orbital exenteration were included in the study. “…The most common indication for exenteration in our study was retinoblastoma (32.1%), and this was discordant with other literature findings (3 4, 8, 9) which reported that eyelid tumor was the most common etiology responsible for exenteration.
