Organic Polarography

Abstract: HIS REVIEW covers articles which T have appeared in Chemical Abstracts and readily available journals during the two-year period ending November 1, 1965. As in the past, duplications and reinvestigations of previous work appear widely, and the tendency for authors to publish the same work in more than one journal has continued. This period has seen the publication of a special issue of Talanta honoring the 70th year for Professor Izaak If. Kolthoff (411). This issue is comprised entirely of invited contribution… Show more

“…Received for review January 16, 1967. A number of workers have recently examined the reduction of organic compounds in 7V,./V-dimethylformamide solvent (1). In nearly all cases, the reference electrode employed was a mercury pool electrode which also served as the second working electrode.…”

“…A thorough survey of the electrodes and methodology of peak voltammetry can be found in the comprehensive biannual reviews by Hume (1 5). A complete and continuing coverage of the voltammetry of organic compounds, including pharmaceutical materials, is contained in similar reviews started by Wawzonek and continued by Pietrzyk (16)(17)(18).…”
