Abstract: Resumo Os turmalinitos auríferos que ocorrem na região do Anticlinal de Mariana, sudeste do Quadrilátero Ferrífero, têm suscitado debates quanto à sua origem, podendo ser singenética e relacionada a focos exalativos ou epigenética e atribuída a processos metamórficos ou a magmatismo granítico.
