Orthogonal Transmultiplexers: A Time‐Frequency Perspective

Abstract: We present a time‐frequency interpretation of orthogonal sets used in a transmultiplexer configuration that plays an important role in many single and multiuser communication systems in this article. It's shown that once independently treated multicarrier modulation techniques like FDMA, TDMA and CDMA have their unified theoretical treatment using orthogonal transforms and filter banks.
