“…The study was conducted in a population of S. reniformis in the Reserva Natural Serra do Curral (19°58′00″ W, 43°55′00″ S), an area of transition between Atlantic Forest and Cerrado in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The study site is located at an altitude of 1150–1510 m. The climate is tropical, with well‐defined dry and rainy seasons, average annual precipitation of 1600 mm and an average annual temperature of 20 °C (Assis ). Fieldwork and experiments were conducted during the flowering period of the species, from March to June of 2014, 2015 and 2017, which corresponds to the end of the rainy season and the beginning of the dry season.…”
