Osteomyelitis, discitis, epidural and psoas abscess secondary toSalmonella entericain a man with diabetes mellitus and newly diagnosed α-thalassaemia trait

Abstract: We report the case of a 65-year-old man with type 2 diabetes mellitus and α-thalassaemia trait. Investigations for relapsing and remitting fever found vertebral osteomyelitis, discitis and epidural and psoas abscess secondary toSalmonella enterica.
