Oxidative damage from repeated tissue isolation for subculturing causes degeneration in Volvariella volvacea

Abstract: The fungal fruiting body is the organized mycelium. Tissue isolation and mycelium succession are common methods of fungal species purification and rejuvenation in the production of edible mushrooms.
