Abstract:Organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) are fabricated using a stepwise process, where layers are deposited on top of previous layers. Each of these deposition steps introduces changes to the film structure, both in the crystal structure and in the growth direction. These changes in film structure have dramatic influences on the overall performance of practical devices.
