P‐213: Decomposable Precursors as Electron Injection Materials for High Performance Organic Light‐Emitting Devices

Abstract: In this work, we found that electron injection into organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) can be improved by using thermally decomposable precursors as the electron injection layer. for example, OLEDs with LiBH4 or LiCoO2 as the electron injection layer showed similar or even better performance compared to the control device with LiF/Al. LiBH4 was found to decompose in vacuum to form LiH. And LiCoO2 was found to be a precursor for Li2O. We achieved not only improved efficiency but also much improved lifetime.
